This interactive periodic table app was built as a personal project to deepen my understanding of chemistry and the elements. It presents a fully visual, color-coded periodic table where each element is tappable, revealing a realistic 3D model that can be rotated and explored. Users can view key information for each element, including atomic mass, melting and boiling points, a brief summary, and the discoverer. The grouping and color coding are based on standard periodic trends, making it easy to identify patterns across the table.

Although I built it in a single school night, focusing on one-element-at-a-time detail, the project greatly improved my knowledge of the periodic table and the relationships between elements. It also taught me how to efficiently integrate 3D renderings and interactive features in a web environment, manage state for individual components, and design a simple, user-friendly interface for educational tools. While the app remains a learning-focused prototype, it demonstrates the potential of combining interactivity with visual education to make complex scientific concepts more accessible.
